North Lanarkshire Disability Forum is seeking new volunteer Board Members to join our governing body. We are a community led organisation supporting and raising the voices of people living with a long term condition, disability and those affected by cancer including carers.

As a trustee, you’ll play a vital role in guiding our strategy, ensuring strong governance, and supporting the Management and staff team to deliver real and lasting impact.

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences — especially those who can bring diverse perspectives or lived experience relevant to our work. We’re particularly interested in candidates with skills in finance, law, fundraising, communications, or HR, but enthusiasm and commitment are just as important.

About the role

We’re looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to help build and support a new volunteering programme for neurodivergent artists across Scotland.

You’ll create accessible systems, help volunteers feel confident and valued, and make sure they have the support they need to thrive. Volunteers will take part in roles like running creative meetups, supporting our Access Library, or contributing to decision-making through our Accessible Governance project.

Door in the Wall Arts Access CIC supports neurodivergent and disabled artists to thrive in the arts. Through Neuk Collective, we bring together over 200 neurodivergent artists for peer support, creative development, and collaboration. Our work centres inclusion, creativity, and community care – building a fairer arts ecosystem led by disabled people.

Key Information

• Job title: Volunteer Coordinator

• Hours: 10 hrs/week

• Salary: £14.00 per hour (plus employer NI and pension)

• Contract: January 2026 – February 2027

• Location: Mainly remote, but with some in-person events across Scotland.

• Reports to: Access Lead

• Leave: 28 days pro rata PAYE holiday entitlement (works out to 7.5 days’ paid leave per year)

You will be part of Scotland’s leading health charity providing support to people with chest, heart and stroke conditions and Long Covid to live life to the full again. Our Community Healthcare Support Service provides access to a range of supported self management and community recovery services to support people across Scotland to manage their health as well as possible and adjust to life after a diagnosis of a chest or heart condition or after a stroke.

The Coordinator plays a vital role in delivering Community Support Services across the Western Isles for people living with chest, heart, and stroke conditions, as well as Long Covid.

They are responsible for leading a high-quality, person-centred service that empowers individuals to build confidence, manage their condition, and work towards their own goals. This includes the recruitment, retention, and line management of volunteers who provide goal-oriented and time-limited support, helping people take positive steps towards greater independence and selfmanagement.

The Coordinator will also develop strong local connections and a detailed community map to support effective signposting, ensuring people can access the right support at the right time.

Applicants will be expected to live within the Western Isles to allow for community support to be offered on a daily basis within their local area in either a group or 1-2-1 setting. Applicants will also be expected to network with referrers in their local area and build connections to recruit a strong team of local volunteers within the area. Occasional travel across Scotland may be required for training, meetings and conferences.

We are looking for an individual who has experience of working in a health care setting particularly with stroke patients to work with our Borders Stroke Nurse Team to support patients following a stroke and their families. As our Stroke

Health Care Assistant, you will be key in providing this support ensuring stroke survivors and their families receive the help and support they require to live the best lives they can. Driving is a requirement of this post a clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

About the Role:

As a Support Worker, you’ll work as part of a team in providing safe, secure, supported accommodation for the people who use our services. You’ll do this by providing practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives.

Main Responsibilities:

This Support Worker role working at our Clydesdale Street service in Hamilton involves working dayshift and backshift patterns over a 4-week rolling rota which includes alternative weekend work. This role involves working 20 hours per week. The Support Worker will:

• work as part of a team providing safe, secure, supported accommodation for homeless people.
• support, review, monitor and evaluate through our case management system, to achieve a positive person-centred outcome for the people we work with in line with organisational, statutory and legislative requirements.
• maintain and update all recording systems and documentation in line with relevant policies, procedures and practice guidelines, including the occupancy agreement, within required timeframes.
• provide, plan and facilitate key work meetings, key work sessions, meetings, reviews and other internal/external meetings in conjunction with the person’s support plan.
• provide general advocacy and advice to the people we support, including assistance to enable them to meet the conditions of their occupancy agreements.

About You:

• Ideally, possess 1 year of experience of working with vulnerable people and challenging behaviour which can be from personal, voluntary and/or professional experience.

We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Children and Young People’s Support Worker to join our team at Edinburgh Women’s Aid. In this role, you will provide essential support to children and young people who are experiencing, or have experienced, domestic abuse.

·28 hours per week

·£30,740 (pro-rata £24,592)

·Temporary – for a minimum of 9 months, with the possibility of extension depending on duration of maternity leave.

About the Role:
