This pivotal role will be an integral link between the operational team of MCDC, MCTC and Morvolts and the three respective boards. The purpose of this role is to support the operational team whilst drive strategic planning, and provide solutions to identified gaps in process at a strategic level whilst supporting with operational solutions.

We are looking to recruit a Lead Practitioner in partnership with the NHS and other Treatment providing Partners, for a period of up to 12 months. This service is designed to support participants affected by their use of Alcohol and Drugs as well as difficulties with Mental Health.
The successful applicant will prioritise trauma informed practice, team leading skills and have knowledge or experience of mentoring approaches. Experience of working with a caseload of service users and working to targets are essential. Experience of working in a community environment and an understanding of needs led practice would be an advantage.
The right candidate will have an aptitude for developing and delivering innovative services, including group sessions, and the ability to engage with hard to reach participants on a one-to-one basis. An understanding of local employability pipelines would be an advantage, as would knowledge of the network of support agencies in the Highland area. You would need to demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work in partnership.
It is anticipated that there will be some travel throughout the area therefore a driving license or access to a means of transport is essential.
We are looking for 2 part time Information & Advocacy Community Support Workers in Scotland, one based in North Scotland (Inverness area due to travel requirements and location of NHS services) and one based in Central Scotland (for a 2 year contract).
You will ensure that service users (children and adults) and their families, receive high quality support, from the point of diagnosis and throughout their journey, and will assist them to access funding, equipment and care and support that they are entitled to. You will join a team that makes a real difference to the lives of the people living with muscle-wasting conditions, and their families, in Scotland. The role will be primarily home based, but there will also be a requirement to attend outpatient clinics within the region, attend home visits where appropriate and to support responding to queries through the helpline and information inbox. Some travel will be required to attend meetings and events outside of Scotland. You will work with both statutory and voluntary organisations, clinicians, and health and social care professionals to ensure that people living with muscle wasting conditions get the care and support they need to live well and independently.

Working alongside schools and other statutory and third sector providers, the new team of Whole Family Support Workers will deliver tailored preventative and early intervention support to families in the Inverness High School Associated Schools Group area.
One worker will be employed by each of the three delivery partners – the Care and Learning Alliance, Homestart East Highland and Thriving Families – and selection by each delivery partner will be based on specific skills and experience required for key aspects of project delivery under the leadership of each partner. The Supported Housing Worker role requires assisting in the management of the development thus ensuring the tenants are able to enjoy an acceptable standard of living in an environment which is clean, safe and friendly. You will be responsible for overseeing the wellbeing of the tenants and for assisting them in maintaining their independence.
As Housing Care Worker your role will involve working with our tenants to ensure they receive the support and personal care identified in their care plans. You will directly support tenants in their homes by providing individual advice, practical housing support assistance and personal care.
Both roles are to ensure that we are able to offer the best service to our tenants and make it possible for our tenants to continue enjoying as much independent living as they’re able.
