Role

This role offers the opportunity to use your experience and skills to work as part of a team encouraging and facilitating God’s mission across the area.

Experience of working within a communications/public relations environment will be important as the role will work to develop and implement a communications strategy for Presbytery. You will work to promote and support the mission and ministry of the Church of Scotland in order to engage with the wider community through different forms of media and media contacts, and build connections and relationships across Presbytery through activities which encourage good communication and foster friendship and collegiate working.

With the ability to write and edit clear and interesting press releases, news stories and features, you will also an understanding and interest in the work of the Church of Scotland at a local level with a sympathy for its ethos and vision. You will be positive, organised, self-motivated with the ability to enthuse and encourage others.
