The Hub Coordinator will assume overall responsibility for development and running of our new community venue including the line management of employees and volunteers, and organising activities and events, and development of social enterprise projects.
The post holder will work collaboratively with employees, volunteers, participants, the Board of Trustees, and other stakeholders to establish a thriving community venue accessible for everyone in the local community and based on the overarching principles of abstinence, trust, peer support, respect, and responsibility. The post would suit someone with a genuine passion for interacting with and helping others and who want to take on a key role in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming place for community members to come together in Ayr.
Essential requirements for the post include lived experience of recovery from alcohol or drugs or an affected family member and the ability to work evenings and weekends as required for the role.
