The Hub Coordinator will assume overall responsibility for development and running of our new community venue including the line management of employees and volunteers, and organising activities and events, and development of social enterprise projects.
The post holder will work collaboratively with employees, volunteers, participants, the Board of Trustees, and other stakeholders to establish a thriving community venue accessible for everyone in the local community and based on the overarching principles of abstinence, trust, peer support, respect, and responsibility. The post would suit someone with a genuine passion for interacting with and helping others and who want to take on a key role in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming place for community members to come together in Ayr.
Essential requirements for the post include lived experience of recovery from alcohol or drugs or an affected family member and the ability to work evenings and weekends as required for the role.

Job Description
You will be based in our South Ayrshire service, which provides emotional and practical support to individuals and families affected by alcohol and drug use. Our teams work with people at every stage of their recovery journey — providing evidence-based psychosocial interventions, helping clients build resilience, exploring the root causes of substance misuse and achieving meaningful change.

As Service Manager, you will be responsible for collaboratively leading the service to ensure a high level of performance by meeting targets and KPIs set, whilst creating a supportive and inclusive environment. This post requires excellent leadership skills to work innovatively and confidently, supporting staff in high performing recovery work, overseeing quality assurance and safeguarding and with the capacity to work within competing demands and tight timescales. You will work closely with the Head and Director of Service Delivery to ensure clear communication and a mutually agreed delivery of service.
Safeguarding those we provide our services to, sharing your concerns and putting the right interventions in place is key to the success of this role. You will work with a dedicated team of people, building strong relationships with other agencies to deliver the comprehensive support needed by those using our services. You will lead your team, providing development and clear direction aligned with the organisational aims and be a strong advocate for WithYou externally, maintaining and building our profile as you go.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week between Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm, with some evening and weekend flexibility as required. The salary for this position is £38,000 - £44,000 per annum.

Job Description
As our Substance Misuse Nurse, you will provide a range of health and wellbeing and harm reduction interventions to service users in accordance with the agreed model of service delivery. You will deliver high standards of nursing care to those affected by substance misuse and be responsible for the assessment of care needs, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.
You will be an advocate for our patients, working closely with them to identify the physical, psychological, spiritual and social support they need. You will work flexibly providing a high standard of nursing care in a variety of settings, promoting the health and well-being of service users whilst maintaining a safe, caring and therapeutic environment.
You will participate as an active member of the nursing and multi-disciplinary teams, accountable for your practice, and work in partnership with other health care professionals, psycho-social case managers, patients and others in the delivery of care. You will support the delivery of specific healthcare clinics or groups, designed to support and educate clients, providing them with practical tools to overcome life’s challenges, this will include pre-session planning and post-session evaluation.

The Recovery Development Worker is suited to an individual with "lived" and/or “learned” experience of recovery from problematic substance use or addictive behaviours, such as problem gambling, or someone who has been directly affected by another person’s substance use or addictive behaviours.
This experience of recovery and resilience can instil hope and is a powerful example within recovery communities. Individuals with lived experience of substance use must be at least 24 months free from problematic substance use and not engaging with services.
The post holder will be required to join the PVG scheme.
