The Projects & Exhibitions Manager is a key role in delivering The Hunterian’s ambition to be a more meaningful place for more diverse audiences. You will coordinate the development of, and project manage the development and delivery of, The Hunterian’s programme of temporary exhibitions and will support the delivery of the NLHF-funded ‘Unlocking the Potential of The Hunterian’ project.
You will be responsible for effectively managing a portfolio of projects, including a range of exhibitions and elements of the NLHF funded development project. This includes effective planning, stakeholder management, resource management and effective and extensive communication throughout the Hunterian team.
We have a new and innovative post which will work on our Initial Ministerial Education (IME) programme with the opportunity to shape courses, conferences and policy. You will be responsible for ensuring that our academic courses for our trainee ministers and deacons are meeting the Church of Scotland needs and reflective of the demands of modern ministry. As you will be working closely with our Lead Academic Partner you will bring your own experience of theological study alongside a track record of delivering a training and/or education training programme.
Bringing strong interpersonal skills including influence and negotiation combined with your knowledge of the workings of the Church of Scotland and its training and formation will allow you to lead and advise on our new IME programme.

We now have vacancy for a full time (35 Hrs) Cycle Development Officer. The main aim of the role is to oversee and develop the Trackside Bikes at GBT. This programme includes a range of cycling services within our Trackside Bike shop including bike repairs, services, loans, and educational offerings.
Acting as an ambassador for cycling and active travel in North Lanarkshire you will work closely with the staff team, GBT, key local stakeholders and the wider community to promote the benefits of cycling.
The Astley Ainslie Community Trust is a charity working to achieve community ownership of the Astley Ainslie hospital in Edinburgh, when the NHS vacate the site. We have 750 local members, and a wider community of people interested in the future of the site.
The hospital celebrated its Centenary in 2023. To commemorate this milestone, the AACT are conducting an Oral History project which will collect spoken memories from people with connections to the hospital over the years. Heritage Lottery have awarded funding for this project.
The project will involve recording and collecting 40 oral history accounts from staff, patients, friends and family. The oral histories will be archived with Edinburgh Universities Lothian Health Services Archive. There will also be a small exhibition showcasing a selection of the oral histories in a public space.
We are looking for someone to project manage and lead the execution of this project.
Key service requirements:
Project management

Recruitment of subjects for interview
Reviewing, editing of interviews for archives and public facing outputs
Project administration, including regular evaluation and progress reports
Final project report
Leading development of public exhibition
We are looking for a person who will be:
Highly organised with an eye for detail
Friendly and able to communicate effectively with different project stakeholders
Familiar with the requirements of working on a self-employed basis (eg covering own tax and insurance etc).
Comfortable engaging with volunteers and members of the public.
We would expect provision of these services to occupy 80-90 days from January 2025 until the project end date of 25th November 2025, for which we are offering £200 per day based on time invoiced.
Remote and in-person working at multiple locations will be required.
The post will be managed by the Astley Ainslie Community Trust Project Management Committee and Project Director.

Moving Medicine is an award-winning initiative of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine UK (FSEM) aimed at improving health through physical activity. It provides healthcare professionals with practical tools and evidence-based resources to promote physical activity in clinical practice. Moving Medicine is our free, award-winning initiative, designed to provide clinicians and allied health professionals with accessible, evidence based, condition specific information to help give advice on physical activity at all stages of a patient’s treatment pathway.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team.
Street Connect is a Christian organisation with a mission to offer hope and opportunity of recovery for people disadvantaged by addiction, homelessness and poor mental health.
As a Projects Worker you can contribute to profound and lasting changes in the lives of highly vulnerable individuals. In 2023/24 working with our church partners, Street Connect benefitted over 2,166 people overall with 806 people receiving support through one-to-one appointments or groupwork, with 160 of those individuals receiving formal key work support, and we supported 16 entries to residential rehabilitation. Our participants report stability and improvements not only in their recovery from drug and alcohol problems, but also in their living skills and situations, social skills and relationships, and in their physical, mental and spiritual health and wellbeing.
The focal point of the role of Projects Worker will be in supporting church partners and volunteers. Our experience has shown us that working closely with partner churches to deliver support within communities is a successful way for people to access the support that they need. We currently have Street Connect partner churches and projects in Glasgow city centre, Royston, Clydebank, Paisley central, Paisley Kilnside, Greenock, Motherwell, Dunoon and Wishaw. As we continue our vital work in each of these areas our aim is to grow into new communities and allow as many people as possible to access the support they need.
In this role you will be part of the Street Connect team seeking to develop and deliver community recovery support through a range of different routes to both male and female service participants who have a background of complex needs such as addiction, homelessness, and mental health issues, who are now at different stages in their recovery journey. This will include both those in aftercare who are living independently and free from such issues and those at an earlier stage in their recovery.
