We are delighted to announce that Deaf Services Lanarkshire is recruiting for an Office Manager to join our team.

The Office Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective day-to-day operation of Deaf Services Lanarkshire.

The role includes office and administrative management, coordination of interpreting services, support for staff and volunteers, client and community liaison, financial and grant administration, and supporting compliance, safeguarding and organisational procedures.

We are looking for someone who is organised, professional, approachable and proactive, with excellent communication and time-management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Essential Experience

Applicants should have:

  • Experience in office management, charity/non-profit administration or a similar role.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong administrative and IT skills.
  • Experience using databases and office software.
  • Experience with digital accounting systems, particularly Xero.
  • A high level of confidentiality, discretion and professionalism.

Desirable: Experience within a charity, knowledge of interpreting or language services, grant administration/reporting experience, BSL Level 3 or above, or experience as a member of the D/deaf Community.
