Business Development Manager

Role

The ALLIANCE is excited to be recruiting a Business Development Manager.

This new role will identify and develop opportunities for business growth, funding and sponsorship to expand and diversify the ALLIANCE income. This role will be pivotal in developing partnerships and securing initiatives that align with our aims and values.

The successful candidate for this role should have:

  • Proven experience in business development, fundraising or income generation
  • Proven track record of securing funding and building partnerships
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation and influencing ability
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and act on opportunities
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Proven track record of successful bid writing
  • Self-motivated and results-driven

Terms and conditions

This is a part-time time role, 28 hours per week, and based in Glasgow. The post holder will be required to adopt a flexible approach to working hours as travel throughout Scotland and occasional additional hours will be required. However, this will be reimbursed through the organisation’s Time off in Lieu scheme.
