The post holder will liaise with patients, family members and professionals to ensure that people experiencing changes to their daily life due to a visual impairment receive the correct support at the right time. The post holder must have excellent communication skills and the innate desire to provide inclusive support to all.

The Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion, Eye Clinic Patient Support service provides a bridge between clinic to the community. The successful post holder will enable seamless service provision, directly referring into Sight Scotland’s Visual Impairment Adult Rehabilitation and Mobility Services and Edinburgh Health and Social Care Social Work Locality Teams.
