Role

This is an exciting time to join Marie Curie in the role of IT Administration Supervisor. This role is an opportunity for an experienced, proactive, and diligent individual to work within our dynamic Technology (IT) team, to supervise all IT administration including providing support to the team, our internal customers and deliver dedicated tasks and work packets.

If the successful postholder desires, this role offers a development path into IT Service Management, Project Management, or IT Technical services.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as an IT Administrator with strong administration skills and an excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in event bookings, commercial management and good understanding of procurement processes and best practice.
  • Experience in financial management and budget setting
  • A great communicator who can build strong working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in setting schedules and agendas for self and others, and able to set plans and priorities and manage workloads to meet targets and timescales.
  • Well organised, able to work under own initiative and to deal diplomatically with issues and actions in a range of situations.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
