About Mearns Kirk Helping Hands
Mearns Kirk Helping Hands (SC046646) is a charity based in Newton Mearns. Our aims are:
“To provide a range of high- quality support services aimed at improving health and wellbeing, reducing social isolation and promoting community self-help.”
We are recruiting a Part Time Project Support Worker to support delivery of our groups and activities based in Mearns Kirk Halls.
The post is funded for 1 year initially by the Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund. This is an exciting new opportunity to be part of a dynamic, evolving charity.
Location: Mearns Kirk Halls, 404 Mearns Road, Newton Mearns, G77 5BU. The successful candidate will be based in the Halls.
Salary: £18000 per annum (pro rata).
Hours: 17.5 per week. Hours will be negotiated between the Project Manager and the successful candidate. Occasional out of hours working may be requested; this will be by prior arrangement with the Project Manager.
Leave Entitlement: 28 days plus 8 days Public Holiday per annum (pro rata).
