Help take the UK's leading music and dementia charity to the next level

Playlist for Life, the UK’s leading music and dementia charity, is seeking an experienced Trusts and Foundations Officer to join our team and help us grow our funding, allowing us to continue in our mission of improving the lives of people living with dementia.

Playlist for Life provides vital support to families living with dementia by using music to improve their quality of life. We have a simple vision: we want everyone with dementia to have a unique personalised playlist and for everyone who loves or cares for them to know how to use it.

Our activities include raising awareness of the power of personalised playlists, supporting a growing network of over 2000 Help Points spread across the UK and training health and social care professionals to embed personalised music into dementia care

We have seen rapid growth in recent years, growth that has been made possible in large part to the generosity of a range of charitable Trusts and Foundations. The successful candidate will help us build on this success by growing our existing pipeline of funding and seeking new funding opportunities. You will be responsible for generating funding for Playlist for Life by researching and

identifying suitable Trusts, Foundations, and other grant-making bodies, writing timely, factual, and compelling funding applications, and co-ordinating the writing of reports for funders.

This year marks our 10th year and we have big plans, so it’s an exciting time to join the charity and make your mark.

Hybrid working at our office in Glasgow is preferred but we are open to candidates applying from further afield.
