Role

MND Scotland is in an exciting period of growth and change. Bring your communication and organisational skills to our busy fundraising team in this new role of Fundraising Support Assistant. If you enjoy delivering first-class supporter care and providing excellent administrative support, then join us to help make time count for people with motor neuron disease (MND) and be part of our vision of a world without MND.

MND Scotland is unique. We are the only MND charity in Scotland to offer direct support to people living with MND, their families, and friends. We provide practical, financial, and wellbeing support to people with MND and their families, as they face a devastating terminal disease which will affect 1 in 300 Scots. Alongside this we fund ground-breaking research that holds genuine hope for a cure. As a charity our mission is clear – we make time count for people affected by MND across the country.

We would not be where we are without our supporters and, as Fundraising Support Assistant, you will provide the organisation and administrative support that underpins the high standards of supporter care and experience we offer.

You will join an established and busy fundraising team, managing supporter enquiries with an engaged and solution focused approach, supporting the delivery of fundraising events and activities, and managing materials and merchandise procedures. You will work closely with Operations and Finance colleagues to develop streamlined processes for all donations received from MND Scotland supporters and help to maintain the database.

As a first point of contact for MND Scotland, you will be a confident communicator with a passion for engaging with supporters and bring excellent organisational skills.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, you will work closely to deliver first class supporter experiences, putting the MND Community at our core.
