The ALLIANCE is excited to be recruiting for new members of our Community Links Practitioner team. We are looking for a full-time Community Link Practitioner and will be based in GP practices in Glasgow and work closely with the Trussell Trust.
The Community Links Practitioner will provide a person-centred service that is responsive to the needs and interests of people accessing Trussell Trust foodbanks. The post holder will support them to identify issues that affect their ability to live well. Working collaboratively with the person, the post holder will support them through decision making processes to help them decide upon the issues that they would like to address and help them to overcome any barriers to addressing these.
You must have experience of working with people who are experiencing complex social and emotional circumstances, and a strong understanding of the challenges faced by people living in areas of socio-economic deprivation in relation to living well.
