About Intercultural Youth Scotland
Intercultural Youth Scotland (IYS) is Scotland’s leading voice for Black and People of Colour (BPoC) children and
young people. We exist to create safe, inspiring, and supportive spaces, driven by youth voice and lived
experience, to challenge inequality and build a more inclusive Scotland.
About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Education Programme Coordinator to lead and grow our impactful
anti-racism Education Programme. This role is central to our mission—delivering high-quality, youth-led

Within this role you’ll oversee programme delivery, manage a small team, build strategic relationships with schools
and stakeholders, and ensure the programme continues to deliver measurable impact. If you’re committed to
anti-racist education, experienced in youth-focused work, and ready to lead with empathy and purpose—we’d love
to hear from you.
What You’ll Do

- Manage and support a small
team of Anti-Racist Education Officers
- Promote the programme across schools, local authorities, and
education networks
- Oversee budgets, evaluation processes, and impact reporting
- Represent IYS in
external forums, advocating for anti-racist education
- Ensure young people can access wider IYS services
through cross-programme collaboration
