Whiteinch & Scotstoun Housing Association is a long established yet innovative community-based housing association. Community is at the heart of everything we do.

Our voluntary Management Committee comprises of individuals with differing skillsets and experience with a strong and shared commitment to set and deliver the Association’s strategic objectives. We are about to launch our exciting new Business Plan which will detail how we will interact with tenants and residents in the local area and are seeking new Management Committee members to complement and strengthen our Management Committee.

What are we looking for?

To help us complement the existing skill set of the Management Committee we are recruiting for new Management Committee members and are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience and knowledge in:

• Finance

• Asset Management

• Housing Management

• Community Services

• HR

• Communications

What’s Involved

The Management Committee are collectively responsible for the governance and strategic direction of WSHA.

You should be willing to commit to attending 10 Management Committee meetings per year.

The Management Committee currently meet on the last Wednesday of every month at 7pm at our offices in The Whiteinch Centre, 1 Northinch Court, Glasgow, G14 0UG. Meetings last a maximum of 2 hours.

In addition, you may be asked to play a part in the governance of our subsidiary companies along with sitting on our Audit & Risk and Staffing & Health & Safety sub-committees.
