Irvine United have an exciting opportunity for a Pastoral Assistant to join their ministry team. The role will providing and multiply a range of pastoral care for people in church and community of Irvine by identifying, training, and supporting pastoral carers and nurture of caring ministries.
As well as having experience of relating to people across all ages and with people who have little or no Church connection, the successful candidate will also have the ability to carry out effective and empathetic pastoral care for those in their own homes, in hospital, their home setting and online.
The successful candidate will be a committed Christian with an active Church connection (Genuine Occupational Requirement in terms of the Equality Act 2010).
