What we need?

Are you an organised and confident governance professional who enjoys working across an organisation, building relationships and making sure good governance happens in practice?

We are looking for a Governance and Information Officer to play a key role in supporting Blackwood’s corporate and information governance arrangements.

Working closely with our Board, Committees, senior leaders and colleagues across Blackwood, you will help ensure our governance arrangements are effective, regulatory and statutory responsibilities are met, and we provide high-quality information and support.

You will coordinate and support our programme of Board and Committee meetings, including agenda planning, preparation of papers and maintaining accurate records. You will also contribute to regulatory assurance activity, helping Blackwood demonstrate compliance with the Scottish Housing Regulator’s Regulatory Framework and identifying opportunities to continually strengthen our governance arrangements.

Information governance is another important part of the role. You will support responses to Subject Access Requests and Freedom of Information requests, provide advice to colleagues, support data protection and information governance training and assist with the investigation and analysis of data incidents.

Who are we looking for…

You will bring experience of supporting Senior Teams and/or Boards, with a good understanding of governance processes and procedures and experience of data protection and Freedom of Information requirements.

You will be an excellent communicator, capable of producing clear reports, minutes and briefings and explaining complex issues in an accessible way. Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities, you will be confident working independently and building effective relationships at all levels, including appropriately challenging and influencing others.

You’ll have the flexibility of our hybrid working model, with two days a week in the office, alongside virtual and in-person collaboration. Occasional support for evening meetings will be required.

About Us

Braveheart is a forward-thinking health promotion charity dedicated to improving wellbeing through healthy lifestyles and physical activity. Braveheart has been providing community-based health services in Forth Valley for 30 years and is well established in the locality.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Co-ordinator to lead and develop our footcare initiative across the Forth Valley area. Braveheart’s Top Toes service is already operating in Falkirk District and your role will be to drive forward the growth of the social enterprise, while managing the high quality of the footcare service. Joining the Braveheart team at this exciting time in the organisation’s development offers the successful candidate the opportunity to make a tangible difference to the lives of hundreds of people in the Forth Valley communities. Key challenges of the role will include implementing a new online payment system, recruiting and developing volunteer teams and promoting the footcare service through partnership development and marketing activities.

Our footcare clinics are delivered by volunteers. The Co-ordinator role includes organising regular training including with the NHS podiatry team, mentoring and supporting volunteers, promoting good communication and holding regular volunteer team meetings.

The post is initially funded by Clackmannanshire and Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership for up to 2 years, however, the aim of the socially enterprising project is that it will become self-sustaining through the income raised by the service.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about health promotion and community engagement with strong organisational and interpersonal skills. Ben View is seeking a Community Development Worker to support the delivery and development of inclusive community programmes that make a real difference locally. Working closely with the centre manager, you will engage directly with participants, volunteers, and partners to ensure programmes are welcoming, effective, and responsive to community needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of community programmes, including youth activities, family initiatives, food and warm hubs, garden projects, and themed groups.

• Lead or assist activities and workshops, ensuring a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all participants.

• Build strong relationships with community members, gather feedback, and contribute to future programme development.

• Develop links with local organisations and help identify gaps in services.

• Assist with monitoring, evaluation, and outcome reporting.

• Support health and safety procedures, including risk assessments.

• Contribute to funding applications, fundraising activities, and budget monitoring.

About You

Essential:

• Experience working with diverse community groups and an understanding of community development principles.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practice in community and volunteer work.

• Confident using Microsoft Office and digital tools.

Desirable:

• Experience in youth work, family services, or similar community programmes.

• Understanding of fundraising, grant applications, and health and safety requirements.

Alzheimer Scotland is Scotland’s national dementia charity. Our aim is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide support and information to people with dementia, their carers and families, we campaign for the rights of people with dementia and fund vital dementia research.

What you’ll do

The roles are transactional roles working as a team supporting a range of finance tasks including purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank processing alongside customer service and supporting donors across a variety of methods including phone and face to face, therefore, strong customer service skills alongside finance administration experience are essential.

What you’ll have

We are seeking applications from individuals with demonstrable high volume finance administration work experience within a complex organisation and who possess the skills to take on the tasks outlined in the job description.

You will be a strong communicator both verbally and written and able to balance competing priorities and deadlines. You will have practical experience of working with a wide range of office systems including Microsoft 365 and databases or financial systems.
