Role
The Outreach Logistics Officer is the central point of coordination for all Vector24 outreach activity. The postholder will oversee bookings, diary management and the coordination of Outreach Support Officers and volunteers across geographic areas.
The role ensures the safe, efficient and person-centred delivery of services, acting as the operational link between service users, staff, volunteers and partner organisations. Every interaction must reflect Vector24’s commitment to compassionate, responsive and high-quality support.
OBJECTIVES OF THE POST:
- Manage all bookings and diary allocations using CRM (Salesforce)
- Coordinate Outreach Support Officers and volunteer teams
- Plan and optimise routes, rotas and scheduling
- Act as the main point of contact for service users and partners
- Monitor service demand and allocate resources effectively
- Respond to operational issues and escalate where required
- Support recruitment, induction and coordination of volunteers
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and health & safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of activity, outcomes and incidents
- Produce operational reports to inform service delivery
- Provide guidance and support to staff and volunteers
- Coordinate referrals and maintain strong partner communication
- Support financial coordination including expenses and resource use
- Contribute to service improvement and operational development
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Essential
- Experience in coordination, logistics or service delivery
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Experience working with vulnerable individuals or complex needs
- Excellent communication skills across multiple channels
- Experience coordinating staff, volunteers or teams
- Competent IT skills including CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and make operational decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills with a practical approach
- Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
Desirable
- Experience in community transport, social care or welfare services
- Experience working with armed forces, blue light or similar communities
- Experience producing reports and using data to inform planning

- HND or equivalent qualification

About Us
Dial-a-Journey first started in business in 1986 with the aim of providing affordable and accessible transport for residents of the Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire Council areas. We have grown from two buses donated to us and staffed by participants in the Manpower Services Scheme to a 24 vehicle operation, with 40 full and part-time staff in our Dial-a-Journey and Shopmobility services.
We would not be able to provide all of our services without the combined support we receive here in the Forth Valley area. We are a charitable company and are mainly funded by the three local authorities with additional and much valued support from the Order of Malta (an international organisation whose aim to provide relief and care for those in need around the world).

Main Purpose of the Job:
The Senior Administrator is a key role at Badenoch and Strathspey Community Connections (BSCC) which will support all aspects of our business, service delivery, and operations to ensure they are carried out successfully, efficiently, safely, and cost effectively. This will be a varied and exciting role that can be shaped and developed to the successful candidate’s skills, passion and experience. Training, mentoring and CPD will be provided internally and externally.
The role crosses several areas of our business, and over the next 3 months, will take responsibility for the daily function of the office and support the development of the charity. It is a wide ranging, busy job with multiple priorities. As such, we need someone who has strong people skills, is efficient, process minded and able to juggle competing demands. The role will be hands on and may also involve leading projects and working directly with our service users and volunteers.
The Senior Administrator must be an excellent communicator and able to forge positive relationships with a wide variety of people, including volunteers and service users.
Background
In 1999 Badenoch and Strathspey Community Transport Company was created by and for the people of this area to provide accessible transport. In 2022, recognising that, through our transport provision, we were providing a wider range of services, we rebranded and changed our name. More recently, we have refreshed our purpose, vision and mission.
Our purpose is to strengthen our community by providing accessible transport and wellbeing opportunities. Our work is regularly recognised at a national level, most recently in June 2025 at the Scottish Transport Awards. The organisation is growing and developing at pace, with further opportunities in the years ahead, so it is an exciting time to get involved and help shape our development.
BSCC is supported by eight part time staff and circa 80 volunteers, who all care passionately about our community.

Richmond’s Hope was founded in 2003 in the Craigmillar area of Edinburgh and is a charity that supports children and young people aged 4-18 who have experienced a bereavement. We offer tailored one-to-one support for children and young people once a week for an average of 12 weeks. Children and young people are seen in A neutral space which is adaptable for each age and stage of development. The children who come to Richmond’s Hope have experienced the bereavement of a significant person in their life that has significantly impacted their physical and mental health.
The successful candidate for this position should have experience of working in childcare, education, health, playwork or another relevant discipline.
Richmond’s Hope will provide a comprehensive induction and training programme in preparation for starting work with bereaved young people at Richmond’s Hope.
This role will be part of our wider team at Richmond’s Hope, the Therapeutic Grief Practitioner (Community Outreach) will provide direct bereavement support to children and young people aged 4–18 years across Fife through outreach delivery in schools, community settings, family wellbeing hubs, and other appropriate locations. The postholder will provide practical and emotional support to parents and carers while also offering guidance to help them support grieving children. The role will include developing peer support opportunities for parents and carers and older siblings, such as coffee mornings and informal group sessions
