Role

The SVRU is a national centre for expertise on violence. Established in 2005, we know that violence is preventable, not inevitable, and we take a public health approach to reduce violence. A unique opportunity has arisen to join the team as Communications Manager.

The Communications Manager will play a key role in promoting the work of the Violence Reduction Unit nationally. They will develop and maintain effective communication with SVRU partners through a range of channels including media, events, conferences, seminars and briefings. They will lead the development of a communications strategy and deliver on it. Importantly, they will help us to tell a hopeful story of change, promoting the existing work in our projects and of key partners. This role will require engagement with high profile partners.
