Role

YMCA Bellshill & Mossend is looking for a dependable and organised Part-Time Finance and Admin Officer to help manage the charity’s day-to-day financial and administrative tasks.

This is a key role in our small team, with the main focus on finance – including bookkeeping, payroll, cashflow and monthly accounts – alongside some admin and HR support.

We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter, can manage their workload, and is confident working independently.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Bookkeeping, invoicing and credit control
  • Processing payroll and preparing monthly accounts
  • Supporting with budgets and audits
  • Maintaining financial records and ledgers
  • General office admin and document management
  • Supporting HR tasks including PVG applications
  • Keeping accurate staff records and training logs

What you’ll need:

  • Experience in finance and bookkeeping
  • Good admin skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of accounting software (Sage)
  • Ability to work on your own and meet deadlines
  • Friendly and professional approach
  • Charity or third sector experience is a bonus, but not required
