Having celebrated our 200th anniversary in 2024, Right There continues to provide tailored support for people in their homes and communities. We meet people where they are in life—without judgment—walking alongside those who need support and working to prevent homelessness and family separation.
Every person’s journey is unique, and everyone’s route home looks different. That’s why we tailor our support to the individual, challenging stereotypes along the way. No matter the situation, we’re not here to judge only to help.
As Head of People & Organisational Development, you will develop and implement a People Strategy aligned with our strategic objectives, ensuring that both our programmes and the people we support remain at the heart of our work. You will lead and embed a positive organisational culture and behavioural framework rooted in our core values: Respect, Integrity, Compassion, Aspiration, and Reflection. Additionally, you will oversee the Learning & Development Strategy, ensuring it is effectively implemented to drive organisational growth, leadership development, employee skills, and career progression.
We are looking for an experienced HR professional (Chartered MCIPD or equivalent) with expertise across the full Human Resources and Organisational Development portfolio, including the development of an effective People Strategy. As a values-driven leader, you will lead by example, bringing current knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice. You will also have direct experience of leading a high-performing, customer-focused HR function or team, ensuring excellence in service delivery.
If you are a values-led HR professional and share our vision of a world where everyone has an equal opportunity to create a safe and supportive place to call home, we encourage you to review the role profile below.
