About the Role

Hanover Scotland are excited to be recruiting for a Business Transformation Lead to join our Performance & Transformation team. Based within the Business Support & Transformation Directorate, this new role will work from either our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices on a hybrid basis and will be expected to attend our offices as and when required. This is a fantastic opportunity to join at a time of growth and development within the organisation.

As Business Transformation Lead you will:

  • Lead on our key business change and transformation projects as part of our Delivery Plan for our Corporate Strategy.
  • Lead our Performance & Transformation team, ensuring that reporting frameworks relating to policy, structure, and performance are developed and embedded.
  • Contribute at both senior & strategic levels, developing, promoting, and applying a culture of continuous improvement and transformation within Hanover.
  • Provide support to our Executive Leadership Team so that we can successfully deliver on our sub strategies of Happy Customer, Asset Management, and People & Engagement.
  • Support the procurement of new core IT systems as part of the Digital Plan.
  • Champion effective and streamlined programme and project management methodologies, collaborating with our teams so that Hanover’s transformation journey is both engaging and clearly communicated.

About You

  • Substantial experience of working in a transformation / improvement role.
  • Experience of collaborating and engaging with both internal and external partners to achieve successful results.
  • Ability to coach, inspire and lead a team and implement supportive people management strategies.
  • Experience of success with delivering business improvement projects.
  • Detailed understanding of Business / Continuous Improvement tools and techniques.
  • Highly developed analytical skills for reviewing & using data, performance & trends.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and in writing and producing high-quality papers, business cases, and project plans.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend interview on Friday 2nd August 2024. Interviews will be held in either Edinburgh or Glasgow, details shall be confirmed if shortlisted.

Interviews are likely to be held with the Director of Business Support & Transformation and Head of Governance & Transformation.

The interview shall be designed to showcase your skills, expertise and experience. You will be required to deliver a 10-minute presentation as part of the assessment.
