The Home Energy Scotland team in South East Scotland is hiring a Senior Partnership Officer to lead a small team in a diverse range of partnerships from local authorities, advice services and specialist charities. We work with over 100 organisations to make our service accessible and to maximise the support available for people across South East Scotland. The team work across six local authorities with a range of housing, energy, and demographics. A practical understanding of these and the causes of fuel poverty are desirable.

Our partnership team is key to reaching those most in need of our advice with a particular focus on supporting low income families; working in the health sector; and providing access to ethnic minority households. If you have experience in these sectors, we would love to speak to you.

This role is undertaken as a job share and offered on a part-time basis - we are open to discussing how you would see this working for you.

Home Energy Scotland is a free, impartial advice service funded by the Scottish Government and managed by the Energy Saving Trust. Changeworks has been involved in delivering the service for 16 years, and currently manages advice centres in South East Scotland and the Highlands and Islands.

Fife Coast and Countryside Trust (FCCT) are seeking an Office Manager to join our dynamic and effective Support Services team.

About the role:

The Office Manager for FCCT will be expected to provide a full range of office management duties including the management of other facilities within the Trust alongside the day-to-day running of our Harbourmasters House office. This will include the day-to-day supervision of office administration across the organisation, office supplies, cleaning services and support for other office functions, including HR and finance. The role is predominantly based at our Harbourmaster House office, though there may be requirement to travel to other offices in Fife on an ad-hoc basis.

Purpose of role as the Case Officer, you will assist with the delivery of our No one left behind service agreement with Fife Council programmes aimed at enhancing well-being through volunteering.

This role will be responsible for interacting with external agencies to assist with the recruitment of volunteers, including working closely with current funders and providing all reporting requirements.

This role requires a person with experience of working with people with additional support needs, age related barriers and complex behavioural issues.

Working closely with all members of our management team, you will be responsible for the evaluation of our volunteers including baseline studies.

This role may occasionally require a proportion of working outdoors in all weathers with our volunteers, to enable peer support opportunities.

The duties may vary from time to time at the discretion of the General Manager to satisfy the organisation’s needs.

You will work closely with school staff and pupils to develop and deliver a programme of activities with the aim of increasing everyday cycling, walking and wheeling journeys across the school and to support social and environmental change at a community level.
