Opening in Autumn 2024, we are seeking an exceptional individual to support the opening of a brand new Care
Inspectorate registered residential rehabilitation service in West Aberdeenshire. You'll be supported by a
charitable organisation with extensive experience in launching and managing top-tier registered care
services.
Aligned with our vision of empowering individuals impacted by substance use and associated needs, we're
collaborating with national and local partners to deliver safe and effective residential care services. Your
role will be pivotal in ensuring that every individual we support receives the highest quality of care and
guidance.
About You
Are you ready to make a profound impact on people's lives? We're seeking an extraordinary person to support
the success of our new residential rehab service. Your experience should include:
- Registered nurse with at least 3years post qualification experience, current and valid registration with the NMC
and a legal right to work in the UK
- A clear understanding of the need for and ability to deliver high
quality person-centred recovery services
- Demonstrable experience or interest in the addiction
field
- A willingness to learn recovery principles and how these can be supported by clinicians
- A
burning passion for creating positive change and improving lives

The Role
- Monday to Friday role
- To deliver responsive mental health interventions within the residential service
and formulate appropriate aftercare plans and support; identifying individual, family and service needs through
capacity assessments, monitoring tools, risk assessment and management plans (RAMPs) and ongoing recovery
planning tools
- To support the therapeutic team with recovery planning processes, including assessing,
planning and implementing various interventions whilst managing clients’ mental health needs. Contributing to
and taking a lead role alongside managers in clinical meetings and handovers.
- To pro-actively consult
and then assist in designing programmes responsive to individual and group needs in conjunction with the
organisations Clinical Interventions Team. Offering a varied programme for example nutrition, sleep, anxiety
management, exercise, behavioural and health & wellbeing interventions etc
- To develop therapeutic
alliances with clients to support their individual recovery journeys, offering health promotion, harm reduction
advice, screening and discharge planning
- Contribute to the service delivering a trauma informed care
approach; with trauma resolution interventions
- To respond to clinical and medical emergencies, managing
crisis as first line intervention and assessing risk and safeguarding concerns

Our state-of-the-art facility will offer 27 beds for individuals seeking transformative recovery journeys. With a
focus on nature and the environment, and with 1.2 acres of land on site, our Recovery through Nature projects
will provide a holistic approach to healing. Plus, staff amenities such as onsite bedrooms and a brand-new gym
ensure a supportive and enriching work environment.
