and effective Integrated Children and Family Support Centre which will focus its activity on early intervention covering Early Years, Youth Work, and Community and Family Support and so become an even more responsive centre for Christian mission.

Principal Duty

To be responsible for all aspects of the day to day management of the transition to and subsequent operation of the Integrated Children and Family Support Centre.

Essential

Degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience of working/volunteering in a youth/family/community setting.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Family Wellbeing Service in South Ayrshire. Children 1st alongside our partners in South Ayrshire Council, children, and families, will provide support which is easily accessible and non-stigmatising. The service offers community based, child centred family wellbeing support across the Carrick Locality of Girvan, Maybole and the surrounding villages. The team and model of support will play a pivotal role in the delivery and development of the service, ensuring high quality relationships with children and families and working alongside our partners to evidence impact. We are therefore looking to recruit a dynamic, experienced individual who can drive the successful development and growth of this partnership across South Ayrshire.

You will be based in our South Ayrshire Wellbeing HUB based in Girvan Primary School.

Salary, Conditions, Pension

This a full-time post, 35 hours a week, fixed term until the 31st of March 2025. Hours to be worked flexibly to suit the needs of the service, some evening and weekend work will be required.

As a Learning & Events Coordinator you will have key role in the successful design, delivery and evaluation of the Children in Scotland Learning Programme. This includes jointly creating a sector-leading, innovative and financially sustainable programme that supports and connects the children’s sector workforce.

As a Learning & Events Coordinator you will take a lead on the logistics of the delivery of the programme, ensuring that everyone has a good learning experience that is in alignment with Children in Scotland’s values and approach to accessibility.

About Options Dundee

Our Options Dundee service works in partnership with families offering tailored packages of support to help families stay together. Based on the needs of the family, this includes supporting morning and bedtime routines in the family’s home and offering a variety of sessions and groups for children and young people which also help them to access activities in the community.

This specialised service enables the children and young people to grow and develop – access their local area, broaden their experiences and provide new opportunities which not only meet their needs but encourage them to flourish in a safe nurturing way.

What we are looking for....

We know how difficult it can be managing your work/life balance, and so we are offering flexible hours to work at weekends either on a Saturday or a on a Sunday or working on both days at the weekend. Work hours would range from 5 hours to 15 hours.

As part of a small team, you will ensure that the highest level of physical and emotional care is provided to the children and young people. Experience in this type of work is preferred however we will consider all applications. Full details of rota requirements will be discussed at interview.
