Your Role
The Learning Assistant will have responsibility for providing effective administrative support to the National Learning Team, to enable the delivery of the national learning curriculum and build the reputation of the learning function across the organisation.
You will be required to support the Learning Programme Manager(s) and the National Learning Manager with the day to day running of the department, ensuring all administrative tasks and operational procedures are completed efficiently and effectively.
You will be the central point for communication in the department and facilitating effective channels of communication between all stakeholders, including the National Team, CHS community, and external learning partners, will be a key aspect of this role.
About You
You will have previous experience of providing administrative support within a team and effectively managing a diverse range of tasks. You will be able to act on your own initiative, demonstrating good judgement and the ability to positively adapt in response to changing work priorities.
You will be able to independently plan and organise your work to successfully achieve outcomes in line with specified timeframes, demonstrating resilience that supports sustained performance when required to work under pressure.
With previous experience of managing a diverse range of stakeholders, you will demonstrate the ability to proactively engage with and manage expectations of stakeholders across all levels.
Life at CHS
Our 2,500 volunteer Panel Members take part in children’s hearings in their local areas, making decisions with and for infants, children and young people. Our organisation also supports a network of 22 Area Support Teams made up of 400 volunteers who support Panel Members in their local communities.
