Role

The ALLIANCE has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Officer to join our team and play a significant role in a value-focused organisation. This is a key post at the ALLIANCE with the successful candidate having responsibility and accountability for supporting the management team with financial record keeping.

We are looking for someone who can work in a fast paced organisation and who has:

  • Numeracy skills
  • An accountancy qualification or relevant experience of working in finance
  • Good understanding of financial procedures and controls
  • Ability to input large volumes of data
  • Excellent communication skills
  • IT skills in accounting software word processing, spreadsheets, databases and the MS Office suite
  • Good understanding of data protection and privacy
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Work effectively without constant supervision
  • Ability to work as part of an effective team
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities without loss of competency
  • Highly motivated, energetic and willing to learn
  • Demonstrate independent judgement and initiative
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • “Can do” attitude and flexible approach
