Marie Curie are in the process of expanding our Solution and Enterprise Architecture capabilities to bring value to the charity and its mission to improve end of life care. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a developing Architecture function and help shape, not only the solutions that help us deliver care, but also the function itself and the charity’s future state architecture.

The Solution Architect will take responsibility for the design of solutions across Marie Curie’s technology estate. They will need to consider business drivers, user experience, technology strategy, existing solution capabilities and market trends in order to design solutions that are innovative, efficient and cost effective.

The Solution Architect will work across all functional areas within Marie Curie’s landscape (Caring Services, Income, Engagement and Corporate Services), engaging with different technologies as well as the design and definition of system interfaces. They will investigate, analyse and solve complex problems through solution architecture and collaborate with delivery teams to ensure that solution designs are understood, achievable and adhered to.

The role forms part of a wider architecture capability in Marie Curie and will be expected to feed into our overall Enterprise Architecture strategy.
