About the Role
Reporting to the Infrastructure Engineer, the postholder will assist and support the work of the Network, Systems and Endpoints section of the IT Department, in developing, building, maintaining and supporting the network infrastructure, the systems and the computer endpoints in use.
The postholder will provide excellent customer service by assisting users with their IT-related inquiries, by demonstrating patience and by maintaining a helpful and professional manner.
This 1st line technical support role involves incident and problem management through effective utilisation of the RCSEd Systems Helpdesk, leveraging knowledge and relationships within the team and with suppliers to resolve incidents and progress problems to resolution.
