Role

SCOREscotland is a multi-cultural, anti-racist, black and minority ethnic (BME) community-led organisation operating in South West Edinburgh. We are embedded in neighbourhoods, many of which fall into the lowest 10% on the SIMD. Our mission is to address the causes and effects of racism, break down barriers, and support local individuals and group’s active participation in civic life to improve their quality of life and opportunities. We act on the causes and effects of racism by promoting race equality, raising cultural awareness, and fostering stronger, more resilient communities. We do this by improving understandings and acceptance of religious, cultural and social diversity amongst all communities through workshops and community events.

We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our team. We seek a talented and experienced person to work as a ‘Digital Inclusion and Communications Officer’. The aim of the role is to support local black and minority ethnic (BME) families to become/remain digitally connected with the wider world.

The post holder will also manage SCOREscotland’s presence on social media platforms including but not limited to our webpage, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.
