Role

The STOP service is the only service of its kind in Scotland delivering behavioural and attitudinal change programmes to individuals charged/convicted of Sectarian or other Hate crime offences.

We currently operate in Lanarkshire, Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire. The successful candidate should have experience of working with young people and adults and working in a community setting, delivering C.B.T. based interventions. The candidate should have knowledge of the issues relating to sectarianism and other hate crimes and have local knowledge of the geographical areas covered by the service.

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and creative individual with excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills, and who has the ability to engage a range of individuals in the community. This is a busy, challenging role which involves close teamwork but gives a high level of job satisfaction.

You will be required to work flexible hours. Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) is a requirement for this post.

A valid driving licence and access to a car are required for this post.
