Role
Learning Network West is a unique organisation in the West Scotland supporting social work education. We are funded through 12 local authorities and 5 Universities providing the undergraduate and post graduate qualification in Social Work, we are also an SQA centre providing the Level 10 Professional Development Award in Practice Learning.
We are pleased to offer the following post of Practice Learning Development Officer for one year and beyond pending funding.
The 35hr full time post is to support practice learning opportunities within social work education across the social services sector and our partner organisations.

Reporting to the Head of Adult Learning, you will lead and expand the Academy’s work, delivering on contracted programmes and driving new business opportunities.
In this role, you will shape the growth of our learning offering by forging impactful partnerships, managing client relationships, and overseeing high-quality programme delivery. You will take responsibility for meeting ambitious targets while ensuring our work continues to create meaningful and measurable impact.
Playing a central role in strategic planning you will manage the team to deliver operational plans that maximise performance, reach, and programme effectiveness.
