Role

Toonspeak is a Youth-led Arts Organisation based in Glasgow on a mission to transform lives through creativity. We work with Children and Young people up to the age of 25 from across the City. We create unique exciting creative programmes designed to release young people’s potential, expand imaginations and inspire change.

Recognised as forerunners in youth leadership and inclusive governance, participants are supported to serve on our board of directors and empowered to influence the development of the organisation.

We are proud to be the first youth-led organisation to join Creative Scotland’s portfolio of Regularly Funded Organisations. Toonspeak have been celebrated for our commitment to equality, and our person-centred approach.

Toonspeak is seeking to appoint for the role of Head of Finance and Operations: The successful candidate will join our small, dedicated core team of 5 and lead on development and delivery of our finances, fundraising and operations as part of the Senior Management Team of the organisation.

It’s an amazing time to join us as we come to the end of a year of Covid and look forward to re-establishing our physical programmes in the coming months. We have continued to operate during the past year delivering an award nominated response programme, which saw us shortlisted for an Achates Philanthropy prize and a SURF Award (Scottish Urban Regeneration Forum).
