We are recruiting a Senior Individual Giving Officer to join our 3,000 strong team of dedicated staff and volunteers. This is an exciting time to join Glasgow Life’s Development and Fundraising team. You will help us to grow our funding support for important and inspiring projects because we believe that everyone deserves a great Glasgow life.

You will plan, develop, and manage an Individual Giving fundraising programme to support a range of opportunities across Glasgow Life. You will maximise donor acquisition, development and retention through a multi-channel approach. The role holder will deliver an ambitious Museum Membership and Patrons Programme, and support fundraising opportunities across the charity. As well as stewarding existing donor relationships, you will devise and test new individual giving programmes to grow a sustainable donor base.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Degree or relevant fundraising qualifications and considerable experience of working in a fundraising/development office.
  • Experience of managing and growing an Individual Giving programme using donor acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Experience of delivering Individual Giving campaigns and appeals to grow multi-year fundraised income through regular and one-off donors.
  • Strong project management skills and experience of managing new income generating projects from inception through to delivery.
  • Excellent influencing skills and experience of working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders in a large and complex organisation.
  • Experience of effective donor stewardship and supporting the donor journey.
  • Experience of delivering donor events to support donor stewardship and acquisition.
