We are recruiting a Senior Individual Giving Officer to join our 3,000 strong team of dedicated staff and volunteers. This is an exciting time to join Glasgow Life’s Development and Fundraising team. You will help us to grow our funding support for important and inspiring projects because we believe that everyone deserves a great Glasgow life.
You will plan, develop, and manage an Individual Giving fundraising programme to support a range of opportunities across Glasgow Life. You will maximise donor acquisition, development and retention through a multi-channel approach. The role holder will deliver an ambitious Museum Membership and Patrons Programme, and support fundraising opportunities across the charity. As well as stewarding existing donor relationships, you will devise and test new individual giving programmes to grow a sustainable donor base.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- Degree or relevant fundraising qualifications and considerable experience of working in a fundraising/development office.
- Experience of managing and growing an Individual Giving programme using donor acquisition and retention strategies.
- Experience of delivering Individual Giving campaigns and appeals to grow multi-year fundraised income through regular and one-off donors.
- Strong project management skills and experience of managing new income generating projects from inception through to delivery.
- Excellent influencing skills and experience of working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders in a large and complex organisation.
- Experience of effective donor stewardship and supporting the donor journey.
- Experience of delivering donor events to support donor stewardship and acquisition.

Women on Wheels, a Glasgow based community cycling hub for women and non-binary people, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Interim Project Manager.
Our purpose is to encourage and facilitate women & non binary people in the community to get back on a bike or to cycle for the first time. Our programmes are designed and led by women and non-binary people, focusing on a range of cycling & social activities.
Due to our current Project Manager taking time out for personal reasons, we are looking for an Interim Project Manager to ensure the continued successful management of our charity. Therefore, this is a temporary post for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
The successful candidate will have experience managing an organisation of a similar scale, supporting a team, and overseeing daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- As the Interim Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the charity, ensuring the continuity and success of our various cycling programmes and activities. The role involves:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the charity.
- Managing and supporting a team of dedicated staff, sessional workers and volunteers
- Ensuring the successful implementation and delivery of all activities and programmes.
- Maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders, funders and partners.
- Monitoring and reporting on the charity's progress and performance.
- Monitoring and managing the charity's financial position.
- Reporting directly to the Board of Directors.

Location:
This post is for 3 days per week, worked flexibly, and is based at the Women on Wheels Hub, Govanhill Workspace, Unit 4, 69 Dixon Road, Glasgow, G42 8AT. It is expected that the post holder will work in the Hub at least two days per week to align with the staff team.

We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals who can demonstrate their commitment to delivering high quality projects to an excellent standard.
Located in the heart of Glasgow’s West End, you will be a key member of Technical Team, supporting our ambitious procurement and investment plans across Net-Zero initiatives, component replacement, Major Repairs, and Cyclical Maintenance projects with a view to ensuring Scottish Housing Quality Standards compliance, enhancing the quality of our homes, ensuring resident satisfaction; and improving our neighbourhoods.
The ideal candidate will have experience delivering a range of planned and ad-hoc major work, common repairs and investment initiatives, with sound working knowledge of preparing procurement business cases, work specifications and tenders. A relevant professional or vocational qualification (HND/SCQF level 8 or above) would be desirable.
A summary of key tasks include:
- Preparing procurement business cases in compliance with procurement strategy, ensuring timely preparation of work specifications and tenders, and contributing to tender evaluations, to meet project planning and governance objectives.
- Development of relevant consultant appointment service level agreements, appointment documentation and rolling performance monitoring / management.
- Delivering a range of planned / ad-hoc major works / common repair, Net-Zero, and investment initiatives including cyclical, SHQS & EESSH compliance projects, and component replacement as directed.
- Property inspections / reporting to assess compliance with SHQS / EESSH , to inform investment strategy.Pre and Post Contract administration in line with GWHA procurement strategy (including but not limited to preparing / contributing to tender documentation, tender evaluation, issuing instructions, ensuring contractor compliance).
- Assessing and addressing contractor performance in respect of quality and performance across all functions.

The Chief Executive plays a key role in setting strategic direction with the organisation’s Board and in ensuring the organisation adheres to financial, legal and ethical guidelines and standards. The Chief Executive oversees planning and implementation of the Scottish Fair Trade Forum’s budgetary and financial management and its fundraising, communications and operational strategies. The Chief Executive of the Scottish Fair Trade Forum also acts as Chief Executive of the organisation’s trading subsidiary, Fair Change Co.
Location: There will be a number of agreed days (at least 10%) when the role-holder will be required to work from Scottish Fair Trade’s office in Glasgow with other members of the staff team and at other times will be able to work from home or in the office. Some travel around Scotland and on occasions to other parts of the UK and elsewhere to attend meetings etc. will be required.
