About the role

Our Delivery Co-ordinator, Workplaces is an exciting role to develop and implement projects designed to get more people walking and cycling to and from workplaces across Scotland, developing and maintaining relationships with central and local government, active delivery partners, Transport Scotland, and other key partners. The aim is to build a culture of active travel within workplaces across Scotland.

You will lead the delivery and development of existing Workplace projects, including Business Engagement (Workplaces and Further and Higher Education (FHE)), North Ayrshire Workplace Engagement, Way To Work and the Scottish Workplace Journey Challenge. Working as part of a team delivering these projects that are designed to create environments that support active travel to, from and within workplaces, strengthening communities and improving place quality.

You will build and manage internal and external relationships with key people within local authorities, professional bodies, businesses and within Further and Higher Educational Institutions, working collaboratively on their Policies to enhance active and sustainable travel in their workforce.

We offer true hybrid working, a mix of home working and time within our new Hubs in Edinburgh or Glasgow (opens July 2022) with flexible working patterns to suit individual circumstances.

About you

You must have experience of leading, motivating and managing a team.

A clear and effective communicator, you will build relationships easily; this is key, to enable you to affect change within these businesses and organisations.

Skilled in project management, you will have experience of delivering projects in the community, workplace or education setting through consultation, outreach or engagement.

You should be able to demonstrate your experience of working in partnership, including working with Local Authorities, private sector, Further and Higher Education or charities.
