Role

Are you motivated to make a positive change to the lives of people who live in families that are impacted by the devastating neurological condition Huntington’s disease? This is an exciting opportunity to become part our National Financial Wellbeing Service (FWS.) You will work closely with the Financial Wellbeing Service Lead and two other FWO’s to provide invaluable financial support to people living in HD families. The post holder will work in an integrated style with the charity’s Huntington’s disease (HD) Specialists, our national Specialist Youth Service and professional staff from a wide variety of backgrounds and multiple external agencies.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated and who will have a positive influence on the quality of life for individuals and their families by managing and delivering high quality financial wellbeing and energy advice service including welfare rights; debt advice and financial planning and products.

The successful candidate should be able to work autonomously in this challenging and innovative post. Good listening, communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as are excellent time keeping and caseload management skills. A substantial level of experience in the advice sector is essential. This is a community post therefore a clean, current driving licence and use of a car are also required.
