Role

Based in Lanark, Care & Repair in South Lanarkshire is an independent charity which provides a range of projects to assist older and disabled people in South Lanarkshire on home repairs, home safety, home security and other improvements.

The principle aim of Care and Repair is to assist older people and disabled people to live as comfortably as possible in their own homes and within their own communities.

Due to taking on new projects across both North and South Lanarkshire we are looking for a skilled Clerical Officer to join our team.

Reporting to the Care and Repair Office Coordinator and Care and Repair Manager, the duties of the Clerical Officer require to have or to be:

  • A very high level of computer skills
  • Possess a high level of office administrative skills
  • A great communication manner – able to speak with a large range of different clients with different requirements
  • Ability to deal with multiple priorities
  • Must be organised and able to work on own initiative
  • Must be a team player
