Everyone will be affected by dying, death and bereavement and deserves the best possible experience, reflecting what’s most important to them. Marie Curie will lead in end of life experience to make this happen.

At Marie Curie we recognised that to be truly one team around the patient and their family we need to transform the way we work to be place-based. We place a priority on collaborative working between people who provide services and those who use them, with the aim to enable people to exercise choice and exert greater control over the types of support needed for better personal health and wellbeing outcomes, by engaging services with the flexibility and scope for innovation.

An excellent communicator you will work with the Caring Services leadership team and you will ensure the risks associated with providing clinical care are understood and embedded in the corporate risk frameworks and structures providing expert advice and information as necessary.

You must have a strong understanding of risk, management systems and processes within a clinical environment as well as knowledge of national and professional guidelines for optimal standards of clinical and non-clinical risk management preferably from the NHS or similar organisation and in-depth knowledge of UK Health and Social Care regulations across all 4 nations would be advantageous.
