This is your chance to play your part in this as we have a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Assistant to join our team.

Ensuring the smooth and effective day to day operation of the payroll processes, the post holder will be required to communicate with all local service areas, Central Departments, including the HR Function and Senior Managers. Previous experience in payroll, including experience in RTI reporting, timesheet input and control, payroll legislation and compliance changes is essential.

About You

  • Knowledge & Understanding
  • Computer literate, using Microsoft Packages and database systems, including data entry
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation, PAYE and NI calculations.
  • Knowledge of current pension legislation.

Skills & Abilities

  • Effective organisation skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral with attention to detail
  • Able to work with conflicting priorities
  • Organised methodical approach to work with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to handle all matters confidentially
  • Team player able to support the team
