We are seeking an individual to support the work of our Advice Centre through non-judgemental confidential advisory, support and information services to GCU students and support our mental health and wellbeing initiatives. You should have experience of delivering advice work, advocacy, support or wellbeing services through using your active listening or counselling skills. Applicants should have a positive approach, be highly motivated, possess good interpersonal skills, have a can do attitude and enjoy working in a busy environment. We welcome applications from people from all backgrounds and with all different kinds of life experiences, to reflect the diversity of our members (GCU students).
This post is initially for a fixed term contract until December 2022. We are seeking funding to extend this contract or to make the post permanent. This job will be based at the Glasgow Campus of Glasgow Caledonian University, with the ability to work from home one day per week.
