Role
Responsible to: Digital Transformation Lead
Salary:£23,500 per annum rising to £25,000 after successful completion of probationary period (pro rata for part-time), plus 6% employer pension contribution. This is a fixed term contract to 31 March 2022
Hours:Full-time role available, or two part-time roles (specific number of hours may be negotiable). Working hours are Monday to Thursday, between 8.30 – 6pm, and 8.30 – 3.30pm on Friday.
Role Profile
This position represents the opportunity to work for a leading national charity during an exciting phase in our digital project and wider organisation strategy.
The digital project aims to effectively support and prepare clients for accessing and receiving money advice. Often clients are at a point of financial and emotional crisis, so the role of a digital adviser is a sensitive, empathic yet empowering one. Using information and signposting, our digital advisers provide clients with the reassurance, tools and confidence needed to start addressing their money and debt worries.
Job description and key responsibilities
- Conduct chats via digital channels including webchat, email, and social media
- Assess client circumstances and refer to the appropriate sources of help
- Answer any initial emergency questions
- Ask and record key data capture questions relating to client circumstances
- Promote and encourage client uptake of tools/apps used within the project
- Maintain relationships with referral agencies and support advisers with clients’ pre-appointment preparation
- Assist Digital Transformation Lead with project work and reporting when required
