Role
Voluntary Action East Renfrewshire SCIO (VAER) help local people, groups and organisations to work together to shape their communities. Community participation is at the heart of everything we do. This includes promoting local opportunities to get involved, sharing community information, giving residents a voice, and creating safe spaces for communities to come together.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within VAER and we are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive person who enjoys working with people and is passionate about social media to join our friendly team.
We will consider full-time or part-time candidates for this role, with the minimum of 21 hours/pw.
This role is a great opportunity for a student or graduate interested in further

JOB PURPOSE:
As Communications Assistant you will support the Comms Lead and wider team to produce digital content that is relevant to our diverse audiences. You will use your communication skills to help us engage effectively with local people, volunteers, community sector, partners and funders.
