Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Glasgow ESOL Forum as its first Chief Executive. The charity carries out essential, high-quality work to support asylum seekers, refugees, and non-native English speaker to learn English in a range of formal and informal settings. We have been in a period of active change to ensure that the charity is well-placed to support the needs of learners, reach more of them, and help them to thrive and establish themselves in Scotland.

We are now looking for someone to take us to the next stage of our exciting journey. You will have a chance to shape and deliver a new and exciting strategy. We are looking for someone who shares our values and our passion, these are important to us. We are looking for someone that can bring a strong leadership to our excellent and talented team, as well as be credible in building partnerships.

We are looking for someone who can commit to 3 days per week, and we are happy to talk about flexible and hybrid working. We are moving to our new premises at the Pyramid at Anderston from September 2023.
