You’d be working as part of our friendly and dedicated team in Scotland, building up relationships in hard-to-reach areas including but not exclusive to the Scottish Borders, Inverness and the Highlands. You will be responsible for creating a series of six road shows a year involving partner organisations, and the visually impaired community. Bringing people together to share experiences and forge relationships and create a legacy of peer-to-peer groups.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an individual who excels at community engagement and has some experience of effectively managing volunteers, to join our Community Connection team. We work with blind and partially sighted people, and those affected by sight loss, to reduce isolation and ensure people are able to access the support and services that they need.

In return

We offer a competitive salary, a stimulating and supportive working environment and a benefits package including:

• 26 days holiday per year (plus bank holidays – pro rata), which increase with service

• Excellent pension schemes
