Leadership - Leading across functions in driving advanced autism practice, a learning culture and reflective practice.

Delivery and Impact - Develop and embed internally innovation in autism practice in particular in Voice and Participation and new models of care and support which are recognised and appreciated by the people we support, regulators and other stakeholders.

Compliance and Control - Work with the Chief Executive, ELT and Board members to ensure effective governance and accountability across the Directorate.

The Role

The CEO will also lead on the development and implementation of the charity’s long-term strategic and operational plans, helping shape the future direction of SensationALL while ensuring services remain responsive to the needs of the individuals and families it supports. As women and girls are overwhelmingly those subjected to all forms of sexual violence and men are overwhelmingly those perpetrating those offences, we operate from a feminist analysis of male violence against women. The role

The post holder provides strategic and operational leadership to Lanarkshire Rape Crisis Centre. The Centre Director is responsible for ensuring the organisation remains women centred, feminist, and survivor led, while delivering sustainable, high quality services for survivors of all forms of sexual violence and abuse.

This role requires confident leadership, sound judgement, and a deep understanding of gender based violence and the third sector in Scotland.

Hours:

  • 35 hours a week with some evening working required.
  • Weekend working for e.g. occasional staff training and events. (Applications will also be considered for applicants looking for between 28hrs – 35hrs per week)

Salary:

  • £45,000 p.a. (this will be pro-rated for hours worked) fixed term until 31st March 2027
  • As this is a core post, LRCC is committed to securing ongoing funding beyond this timeframe.

Location:

  • LRCC Premises, central Hamilton. This job role is office based, with maximum 1 day per week working from home. Travel across Lanarkshire for external meetings, and some further occasional travel for meetings/conferences.

  • Full professional accountancy membership (ACCA, ICAS, ICAEW, CIPFA or CIMA).
  • Significant experience in a senior finance role, with strong technical accounting expertise.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, treasury management, risk management and performance reporting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and drive organisational improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex financial information clearly to non‑specialists.
