The Ayrshire Hospice delivers specialised palliative care to the community of Ayrshire and Arran. As an integral part of our team, you will utilise advanced practice skills to assess, diagnose, and manage complex patient needs across both in-patient and community care settings. About the Role
The CEO is responsible for implementing our strategic plan, which enables support to over 400 families a year through 1:1 and group work support. You will also work alongside Home-Start Edinburgh’s trustees to ensure the organisation is well governed, and participate in the Home-Start network both within Scotland and the UK.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Director to lead the day-to-day development and operation of the Trust during its formative phase.

Our Safeguarding team provides high quality, professional services to support students who may be at risk of harm, exploitation or who are experiencing complex welfare issues, including students who have experienced, or are at risk of, Gender-Based Violence or hate incidents.
Currently, we are recruiting a full time Student Safeguarding Adviser to join the team to provide valuable advice, guidance and support to both staff and students on a range of complex safeguarding issues, to enable management and mitigation of risk.
The Role:
This is a challenging but highly rewarding role where your main focus will be on supporting students to manage their own risk through implementing practical interventions.
The post will give you the opportunity to use your experience and expertise in delivering services for survivors of sexual violence and hate incidents, to case manage students who may be at risk of harm, exploitation or who are experiencing complex welfare issues.
Your knowledge of the national and HEI landscape relating to gender-based violence and hate incidents will also serve you well as you make referrals to specialist services and undertake partnership work with both internal and external colleagues, including NHS services, Social Care Direct, Police Scotland and Third Sector organisations.
The post also has a strategic and capacity building element supporting the delivery of the University’s Joint Strategy Preventing and Tackling Gender Based Violence and Hate Incidents.
As such, you will be in an excellent position to develop your skills and knowledge through active engagement with external networks and participation in appropriate national events, in order to keep abreast of contemporary safeguarding issues, informing your practice and developing and refining processes within Edinburgh Napier.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a primary role in the implementation of the University’s Student Safeguarding Framework and to position yourself as an expert and leader in your field.
