We are looking to recruit a part time Welfare Rights Officer with relevant knowledge and skills to help deliver a Welfare Benefit Advice service to the Glasgow South Carer’s Service. The Rapid Re-accommodation Welcome Centre provides emergency accommodation with support to anyone who would otherwise be rough sleeping in Edinburgh.
We are looking for a link worker who will build on and establish pathways to support individuals to positively move on from the Welcome Centre. The primary focus of the role is to engage with guests who have complicated and limited move on options and providing continuity of support and oversight to the implementation of guest support plans.
In this role you will work closely with daytime team leaders, project workers, City of Edinburgh council staff, volunteers and partner agencies to deliver high quality support for guests. We are looking for someone with experience of working with vulnerable and homeless people, with a good understanding of homelessness services, mental health, and addiction issues. You should be confident in managing challenging behaviour, while also demonstrating strong administrative skills and proficiency in MS Office. An SVQ Level 3 in Care/promoting independence, or an equivalent qualification is desirable.
This is a fixed-term, full-time post ending on 31 March 2027.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Administration Assistant to support the operations of our footcare initiative across the Forth Valley area. Braveheart’s Top Toes service is already well established, and your primary role will be to provide effective administrative support to staff to manage the footcare service. Key aspects of the role will include managing client appointments, keeping database and administrative records up to date and participation in the implementation of a new online payment system.
Our footcare clinics are delivered by a team of volunteers, managed by Development Officers. The Administrative Assistant role is key to ensuring the smooth and effective running of the service by providing operational support.

As a Support Practitioner you will support people with all aspects of daily living at home and in their communities. You will assist people with planning for their future and to prevent the effects of social isolation and loneliness in their lives. We adopt a person-centred approach to working with individuals who require support for a variety of reasons including mental health needs, autism, physical & learning disabilities.
Whilst experience is always welcome, full training (including SVQ qualifications) is provided alongside regular support and supervision from your Service Manager. The right values and motivation are essential; honesty, respect, empathy and compassion are key skills that are required in people who join our teams.
