Top job! Finance Manager

  • Stratherrick & Foyers Community Trust
  • Part time
  • £60,000 pro-rata
  • Hybrid/Remote: Inverness
  • Closing 30th August 2026

We are currently recruiting a part-time (12 to 15 hours per week) Financial Manager to join our small team, based in the Wildside Centre in Whitebridge, Inverness. Specifically, this role will focus on ensuring sound financial management and compliance through accurate budgeting, reporting, and financial planning, thus contributing to the sustainability and efficient operation of the Trust and our community services, projects and activities.

We are looking for a fully qualified CCAB or CIMA accountant with experience of Financial Management for a small rural Community Development Trust. As this is a senior role you will need to make an immediate contribution using your experience and organisational skills to ensure financial processes are performed accurately and to the established timescale. To this end, experience of QuickBooks would be an advantage, but training can be given.

In addition to having a professional, friendly and dynamic nature, you will need excellent communication skills both face to face and electronic as well as flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving needs. Good team working skills are essential as you may be operating remotely from your manager and other members of the Team.

Although the Team is based in Whitebridge, we can accommodate the role as either remote, hybrid or at Whitebridge. The contracted hours of work will not, normally, involve evening or weekend working, however, there is an expectation that the role will be present at the Trust’s Annual General Meeting in November.
