Role

Shettleston is a community-based housing association, and a Scottish Charity, which has played a major role in the regeneration of the local area for 50 years.

Are you an experienced communications professional ready to make a real difference? We are looking to recruit a creative, organised and engaging Communications Officer to help shape how Shettleston Housing Group connects with tenants, customers, colleagues and the wider community.

Working with staff, Board Members, tenants, customers and partners, you will deliver high-quality communications across digital and written channels. You will build our social media presence, support the ongoing development of our website, lead on key publications and help ensure the Group responds quickly and effectively when communications issues arise.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience of producing clear, engaging content for a range of audiences and channels.
  • Bring strong writing, editing and digital communications skills, with an eye for accuracy and consistency.
  • Be confident managing social media, website content, newsletters and other publications.
  • Build effective relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues, tenants, customers and external partners.
  • Be a proactive, organised problem-solver who can manage competing priorities and respond effectively when issues arise.
